Manchester City youngster Jeremy Monga is set for a return to the Championship after his big-money move from Leicester City, as he is set to join Swansea City on a season-long loan deal from the Cityzens.
Monga became the youngest player to ever play for Leicester when he made his debut at just 15 years and eight months old. He went on to make 37 appearances for the Foxes, and at just 17 years old, completed a deal in excess of £10 million to Man City.
Despite only just completing his move to Manchester, he is set to depart the club on loan, with a Championship side set to add the exciting winger to their ranks.
Monga To Swansea?
As first reported by Fabrizio Romano, Swansea City are set to complete a loan deal to sign Manchester City winger Jeremy Monga.
The 17-year-old impressed massively at such a young age at Leicester City and is set to return to the Championship with the Swans after suffering relegation last season with the Foxes.
Monga is yet another exciting winger addition for the South Wales side, with them already adding Joseph Opoku and Moussa Yeo to their ranks this summer.
A Great Move for Both Sides?
Although Monga has been mightily impressive in his career so far, a loan move is the best option for him to continue his development at his age.
He is unlikely to play a major role in the Cityzens side this season with such talented wingers surrounding him, whereas at Swansea, he is likely to play a large role in what is a very exciting and young side.
The Swans have started the season with two away victories and a home draw, and adding Monga to their ranks will bolster their squad even more as they target a playoff push this season.
