Bradford City could lose defender Joe Wright before the deadline shuts, with Dundee FC keen on signing the former Kilmarnock man.
The Bantams brought the 31-year-old back to England last summer in the wake of his exit from Rugby Park, and he played an important role as part of Graham Alexander’s side as they reached the League One playoffs in their first season back in the third tier.

However, the former Doncaster Rovers man has found his role in the City side diminished this season, and is yet to feature for the club in any competitions, being an unused substitute in three matches.
He was knocked even further down the pecking order at the weekend, with new loanee George Pratt displacing him in the squad that travelled down to Devon to face Plymouth Argyle.
An option away from Bradford has now emerged, with Alan Nixon reporting through his Patreon channel that Dundee are keen on bringing the central defender back to Scotland.
It would mark a reunion for Wright with former Bantams teammate Brad Halliday, who ended his City contract in January in order to move to Dens Park.
Speaking about the potential of outgoing deals from Valley Parade before the end of the window, Graham Alexander did reveal that one, as-yet-unnamed player, has generated interest. (Quotes via Telegraph & Argus):
“I know there has been enquiries about one of our players. We’ll see if there’s any real strength in that and adjust accordingly.
“There’s a couple of things potentially in the pipeline. I’d be hopeful that we get one or two players in to give us the strength and depth from now till January.”
Other players could be on their way out before the Tuesday close of the transfer window, with interest also reportedly growing for forward Stephen Humphrys.
Is Wright Worth Keeping?
As seen in their midweek cup clash with Burnley, Bradford City have plenty of depth to cover for any injuries, with Aden Baldwin being handed a respite to overcome a knock.
Following the addition of George Pratt, it means the Bantams now have eight senior centre-back options in their ranks when adding Ibou Touray into the mix, meaning that arguably the Bantams can let one go and try and pick up a fee.
While he was a solid and reliable option for Bradford City last season, it seems that Alexander has opted for that disposable man to be Joe Wright, slowly phasing him out of the side.
Dundee could prove to be an excellent option to sell to, with the club ready to compete much higher up the Scottish Premiership table, and he could be a pivotal player for Steven Pressley in their European ambitions.
There is also no pressure for City to meet the deadline either, with Scotland’s window running until Friday, allowing the two clubs to take their time over reaching a final agreement.
