This exciting new contract comes after a spell of injury for the Catalan during her first two years with the club. After sustaining a knee injury during pre-season, she was forced to miss a large part of her first year with the club.

However, after bouncing back in the 24/25 season, she immediately showed her value as the club claimed promotion.

I feel settled at the club, in the country and the league, and it was an easy decision.

As soon as the club spoke to me, I knew I wanted to stay here. I’m still young and ready to compete and give everything for this club.

What we want to create as a team and a club, for me, it’s the best project in the English league.

You can see with the new training ground, which is starting to be built now and the wider investment into staff and players, the club has an exciting ambition and we’ll see how we do next season.

After our first season in the Women’s Super League, we know the league now and we want to finish as high as possible.

To have the club’s highest-ever crowd against Arsenal at Bromley was amazing.

I encourage the supporters to come back next season and will give everything for you.

London City Lionesses’ recent contract renewal for María Pérez is a statement of intent, as is their recent agreement with goalkeeper Elene Lete. The club’s trajectory has been fantastic over recent years, and this is only a further commitment towards further strides up the league table.
