Swansea City target Moussa Yeo has reportedly completed a medical with the Welsh side, as the winger is set to make a permanent switch to the Championship from RB Salzburg.
The Swans have made it clear that they want to add quality in the wide areas ahead of the new campaign, and they are beginning these additions early in the window.
The Mali international has worked under Swansea manager Vitor Matos before, so he will know exactly what he is getting from his new man as they look to improve on a positive end to the previous Championship campaign.
Yeo Set to Sign for Swansea
According to Anthony Joseph, RB Salzburg winger Moussa Yeo has completed his medical ahead of a permanent move to Swansea City.
The Championship side are looking to add quality to their ranks after yet another mediocre domestic campaign, and the 22-year-old will be a great addition.
Yeo joined the Austrian side in 2022, but has only had two seasons of consistent game time. In those seasons, he has scored nine times and assisted seven in all competitions which has now seemingly earned him a move to the second tier of English football.
A Good Move for the Swans?
The Malian winger is certainly an exciting prospect for the Swans, who desperatley need new wingers after their current group struggled to make much of an impact last season.
With his previous experience working under Matos at the Austrian side, it will likely take him less time to settle in and would have been a massive draw for him to make the switch to SA1.
His goal contribution record is great for a young player in the top level of Austrian football, and if he can find the form he experienced during Matos’ time at Salzburg, he will be a fantastic addition for the Swans as they look to push up the Championship table next season.
