Rotherham United look set to announce the capture of seasoned striker Tom Bradshaw following his departure from Oxford United earlier this summer.
The 34-year-old spent last season at rivals Barnsley, scoring three goals and two assists in 19 League One matches.
An Impressive EFL Career
Bradshaw came through at Aberystwyth Town before joining Shrewsbury Town in 2009, where he made an immediate impact with two goals on his league debut against Crewe Alexandra. He had a mixed spell there, but later added a steady run of appearances and goals before moving on to Walsall for around £50,000 in 2014.
At Walsall, he hit the ground running, scoring on debut and then enjoying a strong spell that included a hat-trick at Nottingham Forest and having two highly successful seasons. He later moved to Barnsley, where he helped them in the Championship before joining Millwall in a club-record deal. After a productive spell at The Den, he signed for Oxford United in January last year before being released over the summer.

A Much-Needed Reset
Bradshaw could be a catalyst for something that gives Rotherham a much-needed squad lift. As new manager Alex Bruce has hinted, an experienced forward line also featuring former Wrexham captain Paul Mullin offers the chance for both the players and the club to reset and build crucial momentum.
After a turbulent few seasons and a string of nine new signings, this feels like a big test for everyone involved. But it could also be the start of something more positive. If Bruce can get this group clicking, Rotherham may finally have the balance, experience and belief needed to begin a proper rebuild and find a prompt return to League One.
